The Comfy Cat Kennel is housed in the same building as the Cathouse Gallery which enables Sheena to work on her large wire sculptures while keeping an eye on the kitties and ensuring they have everything they need.
The Comfy Cat Kennel was opened in July 2016 by artist and long-term resident of Qualicum Bay, Sheena McCorquodale, who brings years of experience of living with and caring for a variety of animals to focus on felines.

Just a note of thanks for entertaining Oscar over the Thanksgiving day period. He seemed very happy with his three-story luxury accommodation and with his access to some fresh air also. He certainly would have been happy to stay longer. It's nice to leave him in a place where you know he is happy! I look forward to leaving him with you over the Christmas holiday and I know he will be too.

Cali, my 4-year-old cat, spent 17 days on vacation at Sheena's Comfy Cat Kennel in June and really did not want to come home.
I am grateful to have found Sheena's fantastic place as I had to travel to Quebec City before relocating there. Cali spent most of her vacation watching birds and squirrels not only on video but "live" from her third-floor balcony...
